Lampedusa is an island located in the archipelago of the Pelagie islands, in Sicily.
The beaches and the sea of Lampedusa and especially the Rabbits Beach are known all over the world for their beauty.
In particular, the “Spiaggia dei Conigli” was crowned by TripAdvisor as the first in the world with the Travelers’ Choise Beaches Awards, an annual award that collects all the experiences and feedback of travelers.
The areas of interest
In the southern part of the island, there is the beautiful beach of Guitgia, appreciated by tourists who stop over on the island. The beach is characterized by soft sand and wonderful sea, a place certainly can’t be missed.
Continuing up to the next stretch of coast, we find various coves: Cala Croce, Cala Madonna, Cala greco and Cala Galera, up to Cala Pulcino.
Lampedusa is also special for the possibility of reaching certain places and caves only by swimming or by boat. An example is a cave with a narrow entrance, located near Punta Parise, where there is a small sandy beach inside.
The evocative places that the island gives to the tourist are numerous and we are sure that the charm of curiosity and the smell of the sea will make a brave adventurers.
